Andrea Juarez

Andrea Juarez is the faculty adviser to El Leñador. She is also a freelance writer who primarily covers health, food, and the outdoors for magazines and alternative publications. She is a former managing editor of a Latino publication in Austin, Texas. Prior to her writing career, she worked as an employment attorney in Denver, Colorado. She has a penchant for hikes along the coast, flicks (period pieces, foreign films, and movies without predictable, happy endings), and all things food.
