One item every gal needs in her closet is the “perfect” spring dress that can be worn to any fabulous daytime event. And the more unique the better because, let’s face it, no one wants to walk into a social gathering wearing the same outfit as someone else.
El Paso’s locally owned fashion boutiques offer saavy clothing shoppers unique options because they stock a very limited selection of styles created by designers you would not be likely to find anywhere else in town.
Here are five local boutiques that are known for their exclusive inventory and have some great springtime fashion options.
GAL
GAL is the newest high-end contemporary boutique to hit El Paso’s West Side.GAL shoppers love that the store resembles a New York showroom and provides a personal shopping experience for its customers.
Jessenia Cruz, an expert fashion stylist at GAL, says every piece in the boutique is limited to one item per size. “The dress is very exclusive to that person for their special occasion and once we are sold out we do not order anymore,” Cruz said.
GAL is one of two El Paso boutiques to carry designs by Jay Godfrey. This beautiful floral number from the Spring 2016 Trunk Show Collection came in sizes 0,2,4, and 6 for $325.
J. Luxe
J.Luxe at 230 Cincinnati on the edge of Kern Place, is a chic boutique owned by Jessica Escalante. Her attentive staff guide shoppers through a variety of items from clothing and jewelry to fab yoga mats.
When I asked for a dress that would be considered the ideal springtime look, I was directed to this beautiful mesh long sleeve dress by For Love and Lemons.
Featured in a limited amount of sizes and quantities this Sierra maxi blush floral dress can only be found exclusively at J. Luxe with a price tag of $266.40 (on sale from it’s original price of $333). It is also available on the designer’s website, but who wants to wait for shipping?
Ella Blu
Ella Blu, 5410 N. Mesa, is known for providing both contemporary and designer gowns for evening and bridal occasions as well as beauty pageants in El Paso since 2005.
When it comes to a springtime dress, Ella Blu has an array of options to choose from. This two-piece floral set, exclusive to the boutque, features a matching crop top and long skirt for $85.
Trend Society
Filled with one-of-a-kind pieces, Trend Society at 4935 N Mesa offers a range of items from accessories and playful statement jewelry to casual and girly apparel.
