Alex Seufert is pursuing a degree in Electronic Media with a minor in Secondary Education. He is planning to graduate in December of 2009. He currently works at Canyon Hills Middle School as a math and social studies tutor. He is an avid sports fan and prays every year for the Kansas City Chiefs to win the Super Bowl (although his team and the good lord have yet to answer this prayer). Although Alex would love to teach Journalism at one of the local high schools, his dream job is to one day report for ESPN.
The high-tech gear at Herman Seufert’s fifth grade class classroom is not just for show. Students use the computers to post blogs, create their own photo slideshows, and even talk to classes in East Texas. The blogs range from a private journal of thoughts to homework assignments. Everything the students do is eventually posted on a wiki page so that the world can see it.
